You don't need a lot of power to make a fun car.

Somehow I doubt they will ever make a C-Max ST Energi. The idea has potential though. Loads of low-end torque, but still a plug-in hybrid. That's a C-Max I wouldn't mind owning.

The Everyman's Tesla.

It certainly has (had?) that potential. Unfortunately I hear it has a horrible turning radius and very little usable space in the rear hatch.

two things a Tesla also has.

Well, if Mazda won't make a Mazdaspeed5, this would be the next best thing, amiright?

Call me odd, but I want a performance minivan. I also want a woman that is both model gorgeous and has a Mensa-level IQ. I'm sure there are a few other idealistic, incongruous concepts that would fit in this same mold...

I hear yeah. Who doesn't want a fun car to also be practical.

Car manufacturers don't seem to want to let us have them, but since I guess the sales figures might only stretch into triple digits, I can't blame them. They'll just do another performance SUV that I'll proceed to ignore. Children's safety experts would probably be against the idea as well - just think of all the concussions and whiplash injuries. Racing buckets and HANS devices for kids, that's what we need...
I do like the idea of performance diesels. No reason you can't have fun and economy simultaneously; throw the two concepts onto a minivan and you'd have the best of all worlds (if it had a manual). I'm sure I could find plenty of people that would agree, and about two or three on the planet that would buy such a thing. After all, something has to replace those R63s and CTS-V wagons.

Wait, are you saying it has a horrible turning radius and no trunk room, or it has a good turning radius and lots of trunk room? I'd think the latter, at least for trunk room.
